This position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and readiness of assigned properties while contributing to a consistent, resident-centered experience across the portfolio. Working under the direction of the Community Manager, the Maintenance Technician I ensures that communities meet HDC’s standards for safety, curb appeal, and operational performance. Communicate clearly and courteously with residents regarding unit entry, scheduling, and completion of work orders. Complete work orders promptly and efficiently (within 24 hours for emergency and 3 days for non-emergency), ensuring high-quality outcomes and resident satisfaction. Approach all resident interactions using a trauma-informed and solutions-oriented mindset. Deliver service that contributes to achieving 85% resident satisfaction, ensuring maintenance interactions are timely, and that residents are treated with dignity and respect, and aligned with HDC’s values and standards of excellence.
