As a Maintenance Technician at Flaherty & Collins Properties, you’ll have the chance to showcase your skills, tackle a variety of tasks, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. **What You'll Do:** - Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition. - Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed. - Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally. - Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively. - Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently. - Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations. - Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. - Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents. - Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary. - Perform snow and ice removal. - Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
