Private Club experience strongly recommended. **SUMMARY**Under the direction of the Clubhouse Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for miscellaneous repairs to clubhouse equipment and structure. **HOURS/DAYS** Tuesday through Saturday. Hours may fluctuate based on the level of work and deadlines. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following: other duties may be assigned. - Exhibit working knowledge of proficiency with oil and latex paints, hand tools, adhesives, and power tools necessary to complete tasks. - Performs various duties involving painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work. - Maintains and makes general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical system, appliances, elevators, ventilation system and building structure of the club. - Conducts plumbing repairs such as leaking pipes, faucets, and clogged drains. - Assists all department heads with formulating and constructing in-house projects. - Performs various outdoor cleaning projects as assigned. - Performs other maintenance duties as determined by the Clubhouse Maintenance Director. - Performs tasks in compliance with departmental safety program setup for employees within the organization. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or a minimum of three years similar experience. Required knowledge of procedure of procedures, safety rules, tools, methods, and materials used to maintain the clubhouse equipment and structure. **CERTFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS** - Valid State Driver's License **SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES** - Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and service equipment. Operate all equipment. - General Carpentry Skills, HVAC, and General Maintenance Skills. - Must be computer proficient. Knowledge of Windows based programs such as Word and Excel. Must be able to use email and utilize internet. - Must be a team player and service oriented. - Ability to meet US employment eligibility and company eligibility requirements. **EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS USED** - Motor and power vehicles, electric and fuel power tools, hand tools and radios. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
