The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. - RESPONSIBILITIES: - · Conducts regularly scheduled maintenance on production machinery and equipment to maintain them in a proper working condition. - · Is responsible for the daily maintenance operations of the facility. - · Reports directly to the maintenance supervisor on issues, status and functions within the department. - · Will need to be “on call” to assist with any maintenance operational needs. - · Diagnoses problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts - fabricates as needed - Supports & Complies with safety & environmental guidelines. - All other responsibilities as assigned (The information listed above is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job described.) **Qualifications** - Basic math skills - Previous knowledge of machinery used in polyethylene film manufacturing. - Welding skills - Three to five years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical or mechanical field or in a related experience. - Ability to troubleshoot & solve problems - No fear of heights - Basic manufacturing wiring experience - Strong analytical abilities. - Able to work independently as well as in-group settings. - Strategic thinker. **Required** Adheres to safety policies and procedures in compliance with guidelines including - wearing PPE in designated areas.
