**Job Purpose:** The Maintenance Technician is a member of the Facilities department supporting achievement of the mission: “***to provide the finest atmosphere for retirement living and to allow residents to be as independent as possible, yet free to use the communities, services and amenities as they wish-all at the most reasonable cost, commensurate with the offering of 1^st^ Class Quality Services***”. Responsible for conducting area beautification throughout the Army Residence Community. **Primary Duties:** - Support the day-to-day functions within the Facilities department, by adhering to and completing preventative maintenance schedules - Pressure wash sidewalks, driveways, common areas, signs - Paint bollards, light poles, fences, parking roofs, crosswalks, parking striping - General clean up and repairs in common areas and streets - Must follow company procedures regarding safety and emergencies - Assist with other maintenance duties as assigned **Qualifications:** - Valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance - 1+ years in relevant experience - Ability to manually operate tools - Demonstrate excellent customer service skills - Ability to multi-task - Able to lift at least 50 pounds - Frequent kneeling, crouching, bending, and reaching - Ability to work outdoors **This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment)** ***This job description is not, nor is it intended to be, a complete statement of all duties, functions responsibilities and qualifications that comprise this position.
