Maintenance Tech II - 3rd Shift

**Quanex** is looking for a **Maintenance Tech II - 3rd Shift** to join our team located in **Cambridge, OH**. The Maintenance Technician will ensure robust operation of equipment through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement. **3rd Shift: 10pm to 6am (Monday thru Friday)** **Hourly Rate: $34-$40/hr. commensurate with experience + shift differential with bonus potential** **We Offer You!** - Competitive Salary - Bonus Potential - 401K with 5% company match, yours to keep after 2 years - 15% immediate return if you participate in the company’s ESPP - Medical, Dental & Vision Plans - Employer paid disability plans and life insurance - Paid Time Off & Holidays - Various Work Schedules - Tuition support for degree and continuous education - Employee Resource Groups focused on employee empowerment **What's Attractive about the Maintenance Technician?** - Supportive and collaborative culture - Tenured team of leaders and peers to provide support and training - Growth Potential **What Success Looks Like:** - Performing general maintenance of all equipment. - Assisting in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements. - Performing thorough work and follow-through on the repairs through feedback from internal customers. - Communicate with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and perform sustainable solutions. - Must be able to diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V. - Must know how to properly use a digital voltmeter (DVM). - Continually coordinate equipment updates, and operational issues with off shift maintenance personnel and other team members as needed. - Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, safety controllers, etc. to improve overall plant automation efforts. - Attend outside training and seminars for continual education. - Hands on skill test required. **Your Credentials:** - 3 to 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. - Intermediate to advanced mechanical skills inclusive of rebuilding equipment components - Experience with performing preventative maintenance on equipment. - Basic understanding of facility equipment in support of facility engineer. - Basic electrical troubleshooting on 480V and below. - Basic PLC troubleshooting.
