We are currently seeking a **Maintenance Specialist II** to join our team in Anchorage, AK. Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge. As our **Maintenance Specialist II**, you will provide maintenance and general repairs in the areas of carpentry, painting, plastering, equipment servicing, plumbing, electrical, or vehicle servicing as assigned. To be successful in this role, you will need basic knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices within the field of maintenance. Everyday we'll count on you to work independently with minimal supervision supporting the upkeep of agency property and equipment. **Driving is required for this role.** ## Requirements Education and Experience: - High School diploma or GED required - 4 years of experience in maintenance or related field required - Additional applicable certifications, such as Journeyman, in related areas preferred.
