We’re looking for a **Facility Maintenance Rep** to help keep our Planet Fitness clubs in top shape! You’ll be the go-to person making sure everything from gym equipment to showers is working smoothly—basically, a behind-the-scenes hero for our members and staff. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform maintenance tasks using various hand and occasional power tools. - Travel between multiple Planet Fitness locations in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties to address facility needs. - Diagnose and repair minor issues before they escalate into major problems. - Assist senior maintenance technicians with larger or two-person jobs. - Maintain and repair gym equipment, tanning beds, HydroMassage machines, restrooms, showers, TVs, ceiling tiles, and more. **Qualifications:**Experience or knowledge of the following areas: - Basic Drywall - Basic Tile Work - Basic Electrical - Basic Plumbing - Basic computer skills. - A proactive, can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and identify tasks that need attention without direct supervision. - Excellent communication and listening skills. - Comfortable interacting professionally and respectfully with staff and members. - High school diploma or GED required. - Must be at least 18 years old. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Previous experience in a skilled trade is a plus, but not required. **What We’re Looking For:** - A passion for health and fitness. - A positive, upbeat attitude. - Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. **Physical Requirements:** - Must be able to stand and walk for long periods. - Frequent verbal communication in person and by phone. - Must regularly lift up to 50 lbs., and occasionally more. - Will occasionally work with or around cleaning agents and other chemicals. **Ready to help keep our clubs looking and running their best?
