Assists with maintenance and upkeep of facilities. **Essential Functions:** - Ensures operation of machinery and plant facilities by completing preventative maintenance requirements on production machines, motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and all auxiliary plant systems/facilities. - Mechanical troubleshooting and repair to get the lines running efficiently and in a timely matter. - Electrical Troubleshooting and repair to keep equipment and facility up to code. - Performs welding and fabrication tasks. - Maintains equipment parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. - Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends to reduce machine down time and maintenance costs. - Use computers for data collection, record keeping, and analysis. - Continually seeks to improve processes and procedures to reduce downtime, improve machine efficiency and quality. - Read, understand, and follow equipment manufacturer’s drawings and specifications. - Disassemble and reassemble machines according to manufacturers’ specifications. - Able to use and understand electrical schematics and drawings. - Able to troubleshoot, repair or replace VFD’s and PLC’s. - Performs general facilities maintenance and upkeep throughout the facility. - Comply with all safety regulations/procedures and maintains a clean and orderly work area. **Shifts Available:** 3rd Shift 8PM to 6AM Monday through Wednesday and 7PM to 6AM Thursday; schedules can change based on business needs Pay for this position starts at $32.82; based upon experience [Apply to this job](https://yazoomills.recruiterbox.com/jobs/fk0zpkc/?apply=true)
