Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This position requires good mechanical aptitude, basic mechanical and electrical skills, and a commitment to workplace safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all company safety policies, processes, and procedures. - Perform basic maintenance and repairs on production machinery, including Injection Molding Machines (IMM) and CNC equipment. - Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production machinery and facility equipment as scheduled or required. - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair basic mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and facility systems. - Assist with basic facility maintenance and repairs as needed. - Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment issues to supervisors. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Education - High School diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing. - Basic mechanical and electrical skill set. - Basic mechanical aptitude required for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment and facility systems. - Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. - Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures, work instructions, and safety policies. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements - Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds. - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around operating machinery. - Ability to respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner while following all safety requirements.
