Maintenance Mechanic

## Description **Job Purpose**: The purpose of this job is to maintain all internal/external structural & mechanical integrity of all Hospital/Nursing Home properties and equipment. **Education** **:** Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education. **Licensure/Certification/Registration:** None. **Experience:** Possess 1-year level of experience in commercial, institutional or industrial plant maintenance. Demonstrates mechanical and electrical ability. **Preferred:** Possess 2- year level of experience in healthcare plant maintenance, with an understanding of carpentry, mechanical, plumbing and electrical methods and techniques. **Knowledge:** Basic fundamentals of mechanical equipment; including: pumps, fans, boilers, HVAC equipment to appropriate to the needs of the facility.
