Work involves the performance of skilled and semi-skilled tasks. Although the employee may be at the master level in one trade area he is not considered to be at the master level in all tasks. Work is performed with general supervision from an administrative superior. Assignments vary in nature and are carried out in accordance with trade standards and applicable regulations. Has routine contact with the public and vendors. **STARTING SALARY HIRING RANGE:****$26.05 - $28.75****$54,181 - $59,794** **CLASS DESCRIPTION:** This is work approaching the journeyman level in the maintenance, alteration and repair of buildings, machinery and equipment. Work involves the performance of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in one or more of the building trades. Although the employee may approach the journey level in one or more trades, the work is not considered to be at the journeyman level at in any single task. Work is performed with general supervision from a trades or administrative superior.
