Maintenance Materials Coordinator

TAMKO is seeking a Maintenance Materials Coordinator at our Columbus facility to support maintenance operations through effective inventory management, purchasing coordination, and storeroom organization. This position plays a critical role in the execution of TAMKO’s Maintenance Reliability Program by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are readily available to support the safe and efficient maintenance of production equipment. **Essential Job Functions** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Other duties may also be assigned. - Promote TAMKO’s concept of teamwork among all personnel - Stock and maintain warehouse inventory, including receiving and storing incoming parts and materials within 24 hours of delivery - Assist maintenance personnel in locating parts, tools, and equipment as needed - Issue and restock items to and from Work Orders in SAP - Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records - Conduct a full physical inventory of storeroom items twice annually (first 9 months and final quarter) - Maintain the storeroom and kitting areas to exceptional cleanliness and organizational standards - Kit planned maintenance jobs and deliver kits in accordance with TAMKO's Planning, Scheduling, and Kitting process - Prepare outbound shipments and load/unload trucks as required - Maintain and order safety supplies and Kanban vending systems - Oversee the free issue area and coordinate with service vendors to ensure adequate stock levels - Maintain and control the special tool inventory, including tracking repairs, replacements, and consumables (e.g., bits, blades) - Ensure proper security of the tool room and implement improvements to its organization and accountability - Generate purchase requests for inventory items and assist with BOM (Bill of Materials) maintenance and development - Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the storeroom and identify areas for continuous improvement - Implement and maintain proper storage methods to maximize equipment reliability - Assist in process improvements related to storeroom equipment, systems, and procedures - Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, aerial boom lifts, and other mobile equipment - Provide support to production lines and laboratory operations as needed, including shipping - Assist with compliance efforts related to TAMKO’s Management of Change (MOC) program **Education and Experience Requirements** - High school diploma or GED required **Physical Requirements/Work Environment** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job.
