The Maintenance Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient, organized, and accurate operation of the Maintenance Supply Room. This role oversees inventory levels, manages the flow of materials, and utilizes the MARCM CMMS system to support maintenance activities across the facility. The Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring maintenance personnel have timely access to the parts, tools, and supplies required to perform their work safely and effectively. · Develops working knowledge of MARCM CMMS processes, including ordering, receiving, issuing, and tracking parts and tools. · Collaborates with the Purchasing Department and follows established procurement guidelines for all maintenance-related materials. · Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and compliance. · Manages vendor communication for chemical and propane orders, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation. · Maintains a clean, orderly, and well-organized supply room that meets housekeeping and safety standards. · Records part issues and returns in the inventory system with accuracy and timeliness. · Assists maintenance mechanics with ordering non-stock items and specialty materials. · Works with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure inventory-related financial data aligns with general ledger requirements. · Receives UPS and FedEx deliveries, verifies contents, and distributes items to the appropriate warehouse or department. · Accurately receives and documents incoming parts in the ordering system. · Follows all safety protocols and adheres to the plant’s Good Manufacturing Practices. · Performs other responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational needs. · 3-6 months of forklift experience preferred. · Prior experience with inventory control procedures is strongly preferred. · Understanding of maintenance terminology and basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment. · Foundational knowledge of accounting processes related to inventory and purchasing. · Strong verbal and written communication abilities. · Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel (including basic formulas), and email communication. · High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail in all inventory and documentation tasks. · Efficient filing and recordkeeping skills. · Consistent attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed. · Must hold an active, valid driver’s license. · Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 75 pounds.
