We are actively seeking a **Maintenance Custodian** to join our team located in **Dedham, MA**. **\*\*This is a temp-to-perm position.\*\*** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Responsible for cleanliness of AliMed buildings. - Normal maintenance of office spaces, bathrooms, conference rooms and common areas. - Assists with and performs semi-skilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of buildings, equipment and grounds - Inspect properties and communicate with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general cleanup and maintenance - Perform general grounds keeping on an as needed basis. Snow and ice removal with shovels, snow blowers, and a snowplow equipped vehicle in season - Prepares requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning. - Other maintenance tasks as assigned. **Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:** - Ability to read and write English. - Ability to do basic math. - Has good organizational skills. - Requires attention to details and ability to work independently **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards. - Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance. - Must have a valid Driver's License - Must be able to lift and carry up to >70 lbs. - Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly. *AliMed is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
