Maintenance Assistant - Mechanic

EzeFlow USA, Inc.- Flowline Division is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team in New Castle, PA. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a key role in maintaining our equipment used in the manufacturing of butt weld fittings. The ideal candidate will have mechanic experience working with a variety of equipment such as forklifts, trucks, and motorized carts. In addition to working with production vehicles this role may assist in maintaining, installing, and repairing plant machinery and equipment. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:** - Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair lift trucks and vehicles - Perform preventative maintenance on fleet of lifts on a regular basis and track oil/filter changes, document issues, and recommend parts to be ordered - Use basic hand/power tools, electrical meter, and overhead crane - Operate lifts and vehicles around the shop and yard - Keep and maintain a clean, functional work area within the maintenance shop **Work Schedule:** - Full time, 4 x10 hour shift, 40 hours per week, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., rotating Monday-Thursday A-Shift and Tuesday-Friday B-Shift. **Benefits:** - Paid time off-16 hours after 60 days, annual vacation accrual - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance after 60 days - Short Term Disability benefit and 401k employer contribution after 1 year - Trade school or Vocational education in auto repair preferred - Experience with forklifts and LP gas equipment a plus - Ability to follow instructions and stay on task is a must - Needs to work with other maintenance staff and shop personnel to provide the level of service and reliability demanded by the fast-paced production environment **Physical Demands:** While performing the duties required of this position, you will frequently be standing, kneeling, crouching, or stooping.
