Maintenance Assistant

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking **Maintenance Assistant** who takes pride in keeping our facilities safe, clean, and welcoming. From preparing apartments for new residents to maintaining our buildings and grounds, you'll play an important role in creating spaces where people can heal and thrive. **What You'll Be Doing** Every day brings something different! You may: - Keep parking lots and outdoor areas clean by removing snow, leaves, trash, and debris. - Complete general building maintenance, including changing light bulbs, cleaning windows, minor furniture repairs, and moving office furniture or equipment. - Pressure wash buildings and sidewalks. - Prepare housing units for new residents by painting, cleaning, and making them move-in ready. - Assist with landscaping and seasonal property maintenance. - Help maintain inventory and restock facility supplies. - Respond to maintenance requests and assist with special projects as needed. **What We're Looking For** - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid Ohio driver's license with a good driving record - Ability to lift and carry heavy objects - Someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and enjoys solving problems - Ability to work independently while also being a great teammate **Schedule & Pay** - Monday–Friday | 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. - Occasional evenings or weekends for projects or emergencies - Starting pay: **$17.00/hour** **Why CHC?** - Medical, dental & vision insurance (30+ hours/week) - **32 paid days off each year** - 403(b) with employer match - Staff Engagement Activities (Food Trucks, Picnics) - New Staff Credit for Apparel Store - Referral bonuses - Paid training opportunities - Employee Assistance Program - Professional licensure reimbursement (where applicable) Your work may happen behind the scenes, but the impact is seen every day by the staff and individuals we serve. **CHC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Provider of Services.**
