**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** The Machinist plays a critical role in manufacturing by operating and maintaining precision machine tools to produce high-quality metal parts and components. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements. 3. Perform precision measuring and inspection of finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. 4. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machine tools to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. 5. Proficiency in precision measuring techniques and use of measuring instruments. 5. Knowledge of machine tool operation, setup, and maintenance. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** 1. Certification in machining or CNC operation from a recognized technical institution. 2. Experience with tool and die making or related manufacturing processes. 3. Understanding of safety protocols and best practices in a machine shop setting. 4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented production environment. **SKILLS:** 1.
