Machine Operator/ Longview, TX

**Job Description** **Title:** TN Machining- Gr 2 **FLSA:** Non-Exempt **General Summary**: - As a Machine operator you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specifics functions. The listed below are including but are not limited to. **Principal Duties & Responsibilities:** - Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed - Set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed - Ability to perform changeovers - Load programs/inputs into the machine control - Operators perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used - Use proper tools on the machine - Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process - Perform and record daily preventative maintenance on machines - Practice exceptional housekeeping - Understand lock out, tag out **Job Qualifications**: - Experience: Machine operator experience is required - Machine operator in **coil manufacturer** is preferred - Forklift experience preferred - Blueprint reading skills - The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions - Detailed oriented - Computer skill - Good communication skills **Physical Requirements for the job** - Ability to move at least 50lbs - Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day - Wear the necessary PPE for the position
