Machine Operator I (Night Shift)

The NOV Fiber Glass Systems (FGS) San Antonio facility is actively recruiting motivated and dependable Pipe/Tank Machine Operator to join our dynamic night shift! You will be a part of a innovative and cutting-edge manufacturing process, that creates and delivers small-to-large diameter fiber glass pipe to a broad customer base. The schedule is 7:00p.m. - 7:00a.m., Monday - Thursday, with required flexibility to work overtime on Fridays / Saturdays, based on business needs. | Manufactures high-quality, low-cost pipe according to manufacturing specification sheets in an efficient manner while maintaining all NOV quality and safety measures. **PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** Operates winding machine Run DSC machine Extractor cart operation Operate impact gun Use measuring equipment Operation of mix station Understand specifications and how it relates to machine setup and product Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision Utilize safe work habits Wear appropriate PPE Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures Other duties as assigned | | --- | | **JOB REQUIREMENTS** ​​Ability to read pressure gauges ​Ability to read labels on pipe along with specs on paper ​Ability to work overtime and shift work as required ​Good vision required for safe operation of forklift ​Standing up to 12 hours daily ​Walking up to 12 hours daily ​Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily ​Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily ​Lifting weights up to 50 lbs.
