The Machine Operator I is responsible for manufacturing products safely and efficiently to support the achievement of company objectives. | **Position Profile** | | --- | Non-Exempt Full-Time | **Reporting Relationships** | | --- | The Machine Operator I reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor. | **Major Duties and Responsibilities** | | --- | - Follow all process documents, such as work instructions, procedures, inspection criteria. Report results in appropriate Quality Management System (QMS) and communicate non-conformances to leadership. - Manufacture products in alignment with defined output standards as measured by daily operational efficiency. - Demonstrate flexibility of schedule when pursuing training opportunities to achieve personal and company objectives. - Understands and adheres to all safety requirements. Communicates identified risks to leadership and assists in resolution. - Completes all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. - Maintains regular and reliable attendance. - Contributes to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct. Maintains a positive attitude, displays enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicates effectively and professionally with team members. - Other related duties. | **Education** | | --- | - High school diploma or GED. - Trade or technical school experience is preferred. | **Skills and Qualifications** | | --- | - Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred. - Ability to read and understand process documents. - Basic computer skills | **Physical Requirements** | | --- | - Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on a regular and routine basis. - Frequent bending and twisting required. - Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. - Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by process. *Tosoh SMD, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disabled/Veterans*
