The LPN provides direct patient care to individuals and performs patient observation, data collection related to patient care, administers medication, treatment and procedures, implements the plan of nursing care and communicates findings to the supervising RN to achieve optimal outcomes for patients. The LPN is responsible for functioning within the scope of practice dictated by the authority of the Ohio Board of Nursing. Required Educational Degree: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program; RN degree required within 3 years of hire.
