SUMMARY: The Long Island Nets Seasonal Internship is a part-time, paid program that runs from October 14th, 2026 to May 13th, 2027 . Start and end dates can be flexible depending on your academic calendar. Seasonal Interns are expected to work about 20-40 hours per week with some days expected to be in office and other days remote. Each intern will be assigned to a specific department in which they will remain or rotate for the duration of the program. All internships with the Long Island Nets will require flexibility to work games and events, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Program hours for this internship will take place at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY with occasional hours worked at our headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Business Operations Intern Summary: The Business Operations Intern supports the Long Island Nets day-to-day business, administration, and gameday functions. This role provides hands-on experience across sports business operations while collaborating with teams throughout the organization to support key goals and initiatives. WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support gameday and event logistics, budget and expense tracking, administrative projects, and the preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards. You’ll also assist with Kids Zone operations and serve as a liaison between the business staff and Basketball Operations. WHO YOU ARE: You are an organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented individual with an interest in sports business and operations. You’re a collaborative and dependable teammate who is comfortable working across departments, managing multiple priorities, and contributing in both office and gameday environments.
