Welcome to Bosch. The Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center is located approximately 30 miles from Charlotte, NC. This facility employs 400+ full time associates in a 5-shift operation, which encompasses 235,000 sq ft. along with 12,000 SKU's. In addition to the conversion, customizing and packaging activities, abrasives are now a big part of our power tool accessory business. ISO certified, our associates engage in BPS, CIP and 5S. By choice we are committed to a diverse workforce -EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled ## Job Description The Warehouse Specialist is a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and process-driven role that will oversee and optimize our daily warehouse activities. This role will specialize in maximizing warehouse storage and equipment utilization and process, enforcing strict supplier compliance standards, managing third-party logistics and carrier invoicing, and BPS implementation. The ideal candidate will leverage data and modern warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline workflows, mitigate risks, and control operational costs. Key Tracking metrics: - Supplier optimization and compliance with powered industrial equipment - Ensuring accuracy and maintenance of material master data and third-party invoicing - Maintaining 75% - 85% Warehouse utilization - BPS implantation and work instruction maintenance **Primary Duties and Accountabilities** **Warehouse Utilization: 40% of Time** - Analyze and optimize physical warehouse layout, rack configurations, and pallet storage locations. - Calculate and monitor pallet handling capacity and adjust warehouse zoning for fluctuating inventory volumes by material type. - Track and design optimal material movement flows to reduce picker travel time and process bottlenecks. **Supplier Compliance: 25% of Time** - Monitor and coordinate equipment utilization (e.g., forklifts, fleet rentals) to align with daily capacity needs. - Work closely with the transportation coordinator to monitor, document, and address receiving discrepancies, packaging integrity issues, damaged cargo, or late arrivals. - Partner with procurement to execute chargebacks, vendor RMAs, and supplier scorecard evaluations. **System Maintenance: 15% of Time** - Conduct detailed three-way matching of Purchase Orders (POs), Bills of Lading (BOLs), and invoices. - Investigate invoice discrepancies and determine root cause. - Maintain material master data updates to ensure system accuracy and compliance **BPS Implementor: 10% of Time** - Review and update work instructions quarterly. - 5S Audits to ensure compliance with Bosch Production System standards **Other: 10% of Time** - Assist operations when short staffed and during high-volume periods. - Other duties as defined to maintain operations ## Qualifications **Required Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Training, Experience, etc.** Experience with SAP-ERP systems: Proficiency: Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Forms, PowerPoint, etc.): Proficiency: Intermediate Communication Skills (Ability to collaborate with multiple levels of leadership eff…
