Logistics Specialist (Domestic | Exports & Imports Support) Reporting to: Head of Logistics & Warehouse – India Role type: Individual Contributor with Operational Ownership Experience: 5–8 years Location: Peenya - Bengaluru Role Objective To own day-to-day domestic logistics operations , ensure timely pickups and deliveries, manage vendor service invoice processing , and support export & import execution while maintaining strong SLA adherence, cost control, and accurate logistics reporting. Key Responsibilities Domestic Logistics • Own end-to-end domestic transportation operations : o Supplier → Warehouse o Warehouse → Freight forwarder - Export gateway / customer • Plan and execute: o Daily pickups and dispatch schedules o Route and vehicle allocation with transporters • Coordinate with: o Domestic transporters, couriers, 3PL partners • Track: o On-time pickup & delivery performance o Transit delays and exceptions • Act as first-level escalation for domestic shipment issues Export & Import Operations • Support execution of: o Export shipments (courier / air) o Imports, returns, re-exports • Prepare and validate: o Commercial invoices o Packing lists o Shipping instructions • Coordinate with: o CHAs, freight forwarders, couriers • Track shipment milestones and escalate delays to Head – Logistics Vendor Service Invoice Processing (KEY RESPONSIBILITY) • Own end-to-end logistics vendor invoice processing : o Domestic transporters o Couriers o Freight forwarders • Validate invoices against: o Approved rate cards o RFQ contracts o Actual service delivery • Identify and resolve: o Overbilling o Duplicate billing o Incorrect accessorial charges • Coordinate with Finance for: o GRN / service entry o Timely payment processing • Maintain invoice aging trackers SLA, Analytics & Reporting • Maintain daily / weekly trackers for: o Domestic shipment volumes o On-time pickup & delivery % o Shipment aging o Invoice processing status • Support: o Monthly logistics MIS o MBR / QBR data preparation • Highlight trends: o Cost overruns o Repeated service failures o Vendor performance gaps KPIs Domestic Logistics • On-time pickup • On-time delivery • Domestic shipment aging Export & Import Support • Shipment execution accuracy • Exception closure TAT Invoice Processing • Invoice first-pass accuracy • Invoice processing TAT • Billing discrepancy rate Overall • Cost variance vs approved rate • Vendor SLA adherence % Required Skills & Experience • Strong domestic logistics execution experience • Working knowledge of export & import processes • Experience in logistics vendor invoice validation • Strong Excel & Presentation skills (mandatory) • High attention to detail and follow-up • Ability to coordinate with Finance and vendors Xometry is an equal opportunity employer.
