Therefore, we are seeking to hire students who wish to begin their Bosch career with a co-op at the Florence, KY facility. Students will receive valuable training, develop interpersonal skills, and gain increased work responsibilities throughout the program. At the Florence, KY facility, Bosch designs and produces precision automotive steering components and systems sold to vehicle manufacturers worldwide. These include electronic steering racks and various components supporting the assemblies. Below are some typical responsibilities for the LOG department Interns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include but not limited to the following - Perform root cause analysis of constrains and propose suitable measures - Perform inventory reports and analyze trends (bank tracking, FG levels) - Assist measure tracking (cross-functional) & monthly measure reporting to VM management - Assist with Material Flow Project by tracking AGV/AMR activity, make recommendations for material automation to implement, and join weekly meetings - Develop cost justifications for new/updated Automation requirements through Total Cost of Ownership analysis and calculations. - Communicate directly with cross-functional departments on any ongoing AMR/Materials projects - Work on process standardizations within the LOM department - Troubleshoot and perform problem analysis related to production, products and materials. - Support with creation of reporting tools (Power BI etc.) to track major department KPIs - Work with other departments (Production, Planning, Quality, etc) in support of projects and departmental packaging goals and objectives. - Support in packaging returnable management objectives, as needed. - Assist in value stream mapping and work instructions. - Any other Special projects as assigned. ## Qualifications Education and/or Experience: - Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree and in good academic standing. Preferred degrees include, but not limited to: Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration/Management. - Ability to work any shift or days required during co-op term (not exceeding 40 hrs/week) Qualifications/Competency: - Problem Solving: Strong analytical and intellectual skills, competent use of systematic problem solving tools, Demonstrate decision making strength - Social Skills: Effectively communicate and collaborate with different levels of associates and cultures within BOSCH Group, Ability to work with workshop personnel, Interested to interact with people - Professional Behavior: Self-starting, results oriented, flexible, enthusiastic team player, Exhibits a customer oriented mentality, Demonstrates a strong sense of teamwork - Project Management: Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, Meet deadlines on assigned tasks, utilize project timeline tools and effectively communicate goals and results ## Additional Information ***Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans*** **Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
