Logistics Dispatcher

## Description **Logistics Dispatcher** This is a full-time hourly position. Your work schedule will be 5 days a week; 9AM-6PM. You may take a lunch break not to exceed l hour and is paid if employee remains onsite. This position reports directly to the Director of Logistics. ***This Position Description, Job duties and work hours are*** ***subject*** ***to change at any time.*** ## KEY TASKS & WORK PERFORMED IN TffiS POSITION · Maintain regular contact with drivers · Provide dispatch instructions and load information or any changes to drivers and P/T director · Track shipment status with loads · Correct and manage driver trip time in Samsara · Maintain clear communication with P/T director/sales team regarding any customer or driver issues · Track all missed loads within load board system · Maintain trip data and load management in TMS or Excel · Ensure all load data is entered and completed and submitted for billing · Compliance with Employee Handbook · All other duties as assigned ### MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · General Knowledge of spread sheets and Excel · Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment · Great customer service skills and phone etiquette · Logistics knowledge ### PHYSICAL ASPECTS · Stands, walk, use hands, reaches, talk and bear frequently. · Lifts to 50 lbs. · Requires close vision at 20 inches or less · Requires distant vision at 20 feet or more · Requires the ability to distinguish colors · Requires good peripheral vision The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the types of duties and responsibilities that will be required of this job and shall not be construed as a declaration of the specific duties and responsibilities of any position.
