Logistics Coordinator

**Description** The purpose of this position is to coordinate and manage the movement of Company equipment. **Duties and Responsibilities:** - Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. - Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers. - Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. - Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. - Create driver schedules - Manage driver hours and expenses - Schedule movement of equipment - Schedule Purchasing & Production errands - Make travel arrangements - Other duties as needed **Commitments and Location:** - Permanent full-time role based in Dixon, IL **Benefits Include:** - Health, Dental & Vision insurance available after 60 days of employment - Company paid Life, Short & Long-Term Disability - 401k with company match after one year of employment - Paid time off and holidays - Eligible for monthly commission. **Requirements** - At least 18 years of age - Prompt, daily attendance - Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook - Ability to multi-task - Highly motivated individual with attention to detail - Ability to effectively communicate through multiple channels and levels in the organization - Ability to answer phones and work with customers professionally - Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required - Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations preferred, not required
