Job Title: Specialist Locum Pharmacist Banding: Band 8A Location: East London Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Hourly Rate: £38-40 per hour Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 8A Pharmacist to join a pharmacy team in East London. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services within a busy acute hospital setting, supporting patient care and medicines optimisation. The successful candidate will bring strong clinical pharmacy experience, with a particular focus on antimicrobial stewardship, contributing to safe and effective prescribing practices across the Trust. Key Responsibilities Deliver clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wards. Provide expert advice on antimicrobial prescribing and stewardship. Support medicines optimisation and patient safety initiatives. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Contribute to audits, governance, and service development activities. Qualifications and Experience Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Proven clinical pharmacy experience within an NHS setting. Experience in antimicrobial pharmacy or stewardship (essential). Ability to work at Band 7 or Band 8A level.
