The Location Agronomy Manager develops strong customer relationships, supports business growth, and maintains compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. ## Description **Location Agronomy Manager** **REPORTS TO:** Location Manager **DEPARTMENT:** Agronomy/Feed **EEO Classification:** Official & Manager **Primary Purpose:** Provides leadership to agronomy employees while ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate delivery of agronomy products and services to customers. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES:** 1. Manage daily operations of the agronomy facility including fertilizer, chemical, seed, and application services. 2. Assist and lead agronomy employees including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management. 3. Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with producers and business partners. 4. Coordinate product inventory, receiving, storage, and distribution to maintain operational efficiency. 5. Monitor and maintain facility equipment, rolling stock, and operational assets. 6. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company policies and procedures. 7. Assist in developing and achieving location sales goals, budgets, and profitability targets. 8. Work closely with agronomy sales staff to support customer recommendations and agronomic solutions. 9. Oversee accurate documentation, billing, application records, and inventory controls. 10. Coordinate seasonal operational planning including staffing, logistics, and product availability. 11. Promote a positive team environment focused on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. 12. Address customer concerns and resolve operational or service-related issues promptly. 13. Maintain facility appearance and ensure equipment and grounds are properly maintained. 14. Support company objectives and perform additional duties as assigned. ## Requirements Reliable vehicle to drive to and from work, Valid state motor vehicle license. 20/20 vision in both eyes, with corrective lenses (if applicable). Experience with Agronomy Chemicals and fertilizers. Experience with application of agronomy products.
