**We are looking for a full-time local driver for our Austin location.** - Must have a Class B license - This is a company employee position - Driver will be driving a company vehicle - All local work **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Safely pick up and deliver freight on-time within local area. - Responsible for safely operating a company vehicle in the transportation of FAK over the road, while verifying loads for accuracy. - Ability to work with assigned routes. - Ability to adapt dispatch should there be a change in route. - Maintain effective communication with dispatch team to ensure freight is delivered safely and on-time, or of any unforeseen issues that may arise during transport. - Perform thorough and accurate pre and post trip inspections on vehicles and report any issues. - Safely and efficiently operate lift equipment, for loading and unloading duties. - Complete and verify all required backup paperwork (bills, HAZMAT, POD, manifests, etc.) are in order and dually delivered to the right personnel member, whether shipper, consignee, or Energy agent. - Adhere to company policies and procedures. - Adhere to company, federal, state and local laws, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) HOS regulations. - Any other duties as assigned. - Minimum 2 years of experience - Must be 23 years of age - Hazmat endorsement preferred - **CSA:** Score must be less than 28 to meet Energy safety records
