Local Delivery Driver - CDL Class B

**Job Title:** Class B Delivery Driver (Local Delivery) **Location:** Des Moines, IA Join **Loffredo Fresh Foods** as a **Class B Delivery Driver** based out of our **Des Moines** Branch**.** We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries. **Pay: Depends on CDL type** - Class B: $20 **What we look for:** - Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older - Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on the route) - Access to reliable transportation - Pass a background check (including sex offender registry) - Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen - Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query - Must be able to read and write in English - Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders - Must be comfortable driving a straight truck **What you’ll do:** - SAFETY FIRST.
