You won't just be sitting behind the wheel-you'll be actively securing, transporting, and delivering specialty building materials to customers across the Southern New Jersey & Greater Philadelphia area. This role combines professional driving skills with customer service and physical labor. | | --- | **What You'll Do** **Driving & Delivery Duties:** - **Secure materials:** Physically handle and carefully secure building materials (laminates, plywood, solid surfaces) onto the truck, ensuring safe transport - **Safe transportation:** Drive commercial vehicles to deliver materials from our warehouse to customer locations across the Southern New Jersey & Greater Philadelhia region and surrounding areas - **Customer delivery & unloading:** Work directly with customers at delivery sites, assisting with unloading and ensuring materials arrive in perfect condition - **Vehicle inspections & maintenance:** Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, verify cargo is properly secured, and maintain accurate logs of vehicle repair status and working hours - **Safety & compliance:** Follow all safety procedures for cargo transport, adhere to traffic laws, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations - **Route management:** Plan daily routes efficiently using GPS navigation and mapping tools; adapt to traffic and delivery conditions in real time **What We're Looking For** **Licensing & Credentials:** - High School Diploma or equivalent - Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A with clean driving record and clean MVR; must pass DOT physical and drug screening - Skilled at driving, backing, and parking large commercial vehicles in tight and congested spaces **Experience & Skills:** - Minimum 2 years of…
