Loan Operations Specialist

**SUMMARY:** Responsible for booking and keying incoming loans, renewals, and modifications into the Bank's Core loan system. Responsible for ensuring all loans are booked to the system in a timely and accurate manner. **PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:** **Time: Description:** **60%** Book and key all incoming loans, renewals, and modifications into the Bank's Core loan system. **10%** Review all loans, modifications and renewals that are keyed to ensure they are on the system correctly and there are no errors. **10%** Balance GL accounts associated with loans, perform loan related research, work credit bureau disputes, create SBA reports and complete other duties as assigned by the department manager. **20%** Assist branch personnel with all system related questions **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:** High school diploma or GED and 2 years of loan operations and bank systems experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:** - Working experience with booking loans, loan systems and loan documentation. - Excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently. - Detail oriented, self-motivated, and excellent organizing and prioritizing skills. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** Working knowledge with Word, Excel, and Access.
