Load Planner I

**Position Summary** The position is responsible for managing loads and route planning for customer orders. **Essential Functions** - Build loads and determine most effective route; dispatch drivers - Take customer orders; provide customer service - Determine effective asset and driver utilization - Communicate with drivers and resolve and safety related concerns - Travel to customer sites; maintain and build customer relationships - Manage driver workloads **Qualifications** - High school diploma - Transportation and supervisory experience preferred Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
