Live-In Caregiver – Basking Ridge, NJ A family in Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 is seeking a compassionate, dependable live-in caregiver to support a 92-year-old woman who is looking forward to returning home from assisted living. She is mentally sharp, enjoys birds, puzzles, and gardening, and is seeking a caregiver who will help her remain as independent as possible while providing daily support. Schedule: Start Date: ASAP Live-in, 7 days per week Family Specifications: Smoke-free home No pets currently, though the caregiver should be comfortable around dogs, as family members visit with one regularly. Responsibilities: Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Medication reminders and pill management Prepare meals and assist with cooking Light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization Assist with transfers, mobility, and strength exercises Provide transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, and visits with family and friends Offer companionship while promoting safety, dignity, and independence Requirements: Prior caregiving experience required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable assisting with wheelchair transfers and mobility support Reliable, organized, and proactive CPR and First Aid certification preferred Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus but not required Compensation: $200–$300 per day, depending on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities available Private bedroom and standard household meals provided (caregiver is responsible for any personal or special dietary needs) All candidates will be subject to a background check.
