### Description *Position at JBS USA* **Purpose & Scope**: This position is responsible for transporting animal loads as scheduled while following our biosecurity protocols. Purpose & Scope: This position is responsible for transporting animal loads as scheduled while following our biosecurity protocols. **Principle Responsibilities**: 90% - Livestock movements: loading and unloading swine• 10% - Other duties as assigned (feed haul, moving equipment, etc.)• Communication with various departments **Travel:** Local travel – approx. 30 mile local farm radius **Required Qualifications**: Valid Non-Expired Class A CDL• Live haul experience preferred, but not required• Strong communication and listening skills• Lift/Carry heavy objects approximately 60lbs• Constant walking, bending, pushing, pulling• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently• Be a team oriented, self-motivated and positive individual with strong work ethics• Ability to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions **Preferred Skills**: 1 year driving experience preferred• Animal handling experience preferred but not required; will provide training• Ability to work in tight spaces; trailer compartment The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following **compensation and benefits**: - **Benefits**: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment; - **Paid Time Off**: paid sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays; - **401(k):** company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; - **Better Futures Program** – Online Classes or select 2 Year Community College tuition paid for you or your dependents! - **Supervisor Development Program:** Opportunity to grow your career through leadership training.
