Line/Prep Cook

**Harbour Pointe Golf Club, located in New Bern, NC**, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a **Full-Time Line/Prep Cook**! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of **Troon**, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. **Compensation**: $15.00 hourly **Key Responsibilities of the Line/Prep Cook:** - Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality. - Expedites orders in a timely manner. - Practices excellent operational sanitation. - Executes scheduled banquet functions. - Maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates. - Helps reduce loss/waste. - Communicates equipment repair needs with chef. - Actively participates in training efforts. - Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. - Attends staff meetings. - Checks and dates all deliveries received and report any variances to chef in charge. - Verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned on a daily basis. - Processes inventory requisition and receive supplies as necessary for quality production. - Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans. - Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product. **Qualifications for the Line/Prep Cook:** - Associates Culinary Degree and 2 years of Culinary Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Must have flexible hours including mornings, evening, weekends and holidays - Serv Safe Certified preferred. **Benefits & Other Compensation:** This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: - **Healthcare Benefits –** Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage - **Retirement Benefits** – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) - **Time Off –** Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria *Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.* **About Troon:** Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world’s largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
