Line Cook

##### Job Details Major Food Group is hiring**Line Cooks** to join our team at Parm UWS! We are looking for experienced Back of House professionals with strong work ethic to help set and maintain the highest standards of cuisine and professionalism. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies - Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) - Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff - Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions - Clean up station and take care of leftover food - Stock inventory appropriately - Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion REQUIREMENTS: - 1-2 years culinary experience preffered - Team-orientated and positive attitude - Strong communication skills a must BENEFITS: We offer competitive salary, medical/dental/vision insurance, TransitChek discount, Team Member Referral program, a generous dining program, and progressive paid time off.
