## Overview ### ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The essential functions of the receiving department are to receive raw materials from vendors, maintain inventory and supply the production operations with quality materials in accurate quantities. ## Description ### **Frames** - Must learn to read daily production schedule. - Understand and prioritize order of material distribution in accordance to work schedule. - Pull frame parts and supply operations for daily production. - Monitor production throughout the day to maintain required level of production. - Maintain clean and organized work station. - Assist others when necessary. - Perform any other duties as assigned. - Must be proficient in the operation of an industrial lift truck. **Raw Materials** - Must learn to read daily production schedule. - Identify, pull and supply proper quantity of material for daily production. - Replenish materials as needed for daily production schedule. - Maintain clean and organized work area. - Assist others when necessary. - Perform any other duties as assigned. **Cover** - Must learn to read daily production schedule. - Identify, pull and supply proper quantity of cover for daily production. - Replenish cover as needed for daily production schedule. - Maintain clean and organized work area. - Assist others when necessary. - Perform any other duties as assigned ## Requirements **SAFETY RESPONSIBILITES:** - Who is responsible for your safety? “YOU ARE!” - Immediately report any work related injury or illness. - Keep the work area neat and free of hazards. - Wear required personal protective equipment at all times. - Always ensure proper lifting techniques: avoid bending and twisting at the waist whenever possible. - Inspect tools and protective equipment before use. - Learn the hazards of the equipment and procedures used on the job. - Report any defective, malfunctioning, or suspicious tool, machine, or protective equipment immediately. - Participate in safety training and safety meetings. - Report any hazards or risks related to policies or procedures. - Safe operation of a lift truck. ### EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED: - Basic reading and writing skills required. - Ability to read, understand and communicate the English language. - Must be able to identify colors and variation of shades of color. **EQUIPMENT USED:** - Box Cutter - Tin Snips - Fork Lift - Pallet Jack - Dock plate - Trash Compactor - Bailer - Wheel Chock **RELATIONSHIPS:** - Must follow instructions of lead person as designated by department supervisor.
