The award-winning Casa de Mañana Retirement (active and assisted living) Community, the jewel of the Southern California coastline, is currently hiring for a part-time LVN to cover our NOC/overnight shift (10:30pm - 7am) 2 or 3 nights a week and a full-time LVN to work a rotating schedule of AM shift (6:30am - 3pm) and PM shift (2:30 - 11pm). Other duties may be assigned. Specific task list will be assigned. - Able to safely pass medications and follow physician orders as indicated. - Coordinates and performs needed treatments, medications or other nursing interventions as indicated by the patient plan of care or as ordered by the physician. - Ensures all needed emergency measures are followed as per facility policy and within standards of nursing practice. - Maintains inventory of medical supplies and medications to meet patient/resident needs. - Ensures that all patient/resident rights are protected. - Maintains all documentation as required by Federal and State regulations and Company policy. - Shared workload with on duty Med-Tech **QU** **ALIFICATIONS for the LVN opening :** - Current LVN licensure on file. - Current CPR Certification. - At least 6 months' experience in long-term care community health, geriatric and/or rehabilitative nursing desirable. - Knowledge of current State and Federal regulations. - Fully vaccinated for COVID-19, strongly preferred. **PERKS for our LVNs:** - Company provided meals - Beautiful location, right on the La Jolla shore! - Retirement plan 403(b) - Employee Appreciation events - $1 Shift differential for NOC (10:30pm - 7am) shift ***We are currently recruiting for:*** 1) a full-time LVN to cover a rotating schedule of AM shift (6:30am - 3pm) and PM shift (2:30pm -11pm) and 2) a part-time LVN to cover our NOC/overnight shift (10:30pm - 7am), *Our shifts are: AM shift (6:30am - 3pm), PM shift (2:30 - 11pm), and NOC shift (10:30pm - 7am).* ***We offer a $250 sign-on bonus PLUS a $600 retention bonus after completing a successful 6 months of employment!*** ## Requirements **Final candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, COVID-19 test, and criminal background clearance.** Front Porch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
