The Role Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled, organized, and student-centered individual to support the daily operation of the middle school library. The ideal candidate will build positive relationships with students, maintain an inviting learning environment, and manage a variety of responsibilities with accuracy, flexibility, and attention to detail. Responsibilities may include: Supervising students and reinforcing schoolwide and library expectations. Assisting students with locating, selecting, checking out, and returning library materials. Managing circulation tasks, overdue materials, student accounts, and library records. Shelving, organizing, repairing, labeling, and processing books and other resources. Training staff and student helpers to help with basic library functions. Maintaining accurate inventories of books, technology, equipment, and library materials.
