Every STEAM kit you organize, every robot you inventory, and every resource you prepare helps educators create unforgettable classroom experiences. If you're looking for a position that's meaningful, active, and never boring, we'd love to have you on our team! - Prepare and organize STEAM kits, equipment, and instructional materials for checkout and delivery. - Label, sort, and package materials to ensure accurate distribution and return. - Assist with inventory management, including checking items in and out and updating inventory records. - Inspect returned materials for completeness, damage, or missing components. - Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe lending library workspace and storage area. - Provide courteous customer service to educators, staff, and community partners. - Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and basic clerical tasks related to library operations. - Support special projects, events, and other STEAM Hub activities as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Basic computer proficiency, including email, spreadsheets, and database or inventory systems. - Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Interest in or familiarity with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education is preferred. - Reliable attendance and punctuality. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Familiar with STEAM Lending Library. - Previous experience with inventory, library, retail, education, or customer service work is preferred. **SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS:** For full consideration applicants must submit with their application all of the following: 1.
