This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working within established systems, staying organized, and contributing to a well-structured legal team environment. In this role, you’ll work as part of a dedicated, long-term team of legal professionals, supporting attorneys while remaining fully backed by Equivity’s internal operations and leadership. This is a support-focused position where you’ll help keep matters organized and moving forward within clearly defined workflows. **What You Might Do** - Case & Matter Support: Assist with setting up and maintaining matters within Clio or other case management systems, including updating contacts, notes, tasks, and documents - Client Intake & Coordination: Support intake workflows by scheduling consultations, sending engagement agreements, and helping ensure required information and documents are collected - Calendar & Scheduling: Assist with managing calendars, scheduling meetings and deadlines, and helping track important dates - Task & Workflow Support: Help maintain task lists and workflows to support ongoing case progression - Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and support a professional experience - Billing & Administrative Support: Assist with time entry, invoicing support, and general administrative processes - Document Management: Upload, organize, and maintain documents within firm systems - Email & Communication Support: Assist with inbox management, drafting routine correspondence, and routing communications - Follow-Ups: Help track next steps and follow up on outstanding items to support case progress - Operational Support: Contribute to maintaining organized systems and supporting day-to-day practice operations **We're looking for:** - At least 1 year of experience in a legal administrative, legal assistant, or litigation support role. - Hands-on experience using Clio in a legal setting - A completed bachelor's degree - Minimum availability of 20 hours/week to start - Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases - Strong attention to detail and communication skill - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe - Windows-based computer preferred - Availability and responsiveness within 1 hour during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Equivity is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
