Minimum 5-7 years experience as a practicing attorney is required; prior in-house counseling experience at a technology company is strongly preferred. Ideal qualities include experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial transactions and a strong background in e-commerce (e.g., Internet privacy, advertising law, product counseling, consumer-facing product terms and other regulatory issues); experience with travel industry regulations or payment card and financial services compliance is a plus. Clear, crisp communication skills, exceptional judgment, and a practical, business-minded approach are essential for success in this role. Drive for results and the ability to keep pace with Navan’s rapid global growth and fast-paced culture while managing a high volume of complex, time-sensitive matters with competing deadlines and minimal supervision.
