## Description **Job Summary** **Group Leader assist departmental supervisor/manager in the performance of his/her duties as assigned by that supervisor/manager regarding those Associates within the group assigned. Achievements will be measured by safety, quality, timeliness, productivity, attendance and teamwork.** **Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities** **Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:** · Performs work as assigned by supervisor/manager · Instructs and trains Associates new to the department, job or Kysor Warren EPTA · Monitors materials within the department · Assists in work assignments and the associated paperwork · In the absence of the supervisor, fills in on a limited basis to maintain production, efficiency, quality and discipline · Contributes to team effort by focusing on achieving results that are linked to company goals and objectives · Performs other duties as assigned **Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills** **Required:** · High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency **Associated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** · Capable of performing the work in the area at a high level · Able to read tape measure, perform calculations, write legibly, read and interpret specifications and assembly schematics · Presents a positive model for Performance Management criteria as defined by KWE · Working knowledge of contemporary manufacturing/distribution processes · Must display sound judgment and appropriate leadership skills · Working knowledge of IT solutions: SAP – fundamentals in part transactions, inventory, processes, scheduling & Basic Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word ability **Core Job Competencies** **To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following job competencies:** · Cooperation/Teamwork – Works harmoniously and contributes to building a positive team spirit while working with others to get a job done; responds positively to instructions and procedures. · Oral/Written Communication – Expresses oneself clearly in conversation and expresses oneself clearly in business writing.
