## Description **Now Hiring: Lead Teacher** **Pay Range:** $24.00/hour **Status:** Full-Time **Location:** Midtown, YWCA Minneapolis **What You’ll Do** As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a high-quality, nurturing, anti-bias, developmentally appropriate classroom environment. You will provide leadership within the classroom team and ensure strong care, communication, and developmental support for children. - Develop and implement theme-based curriculum aligned with YWCA’s Anti-Bias Curriculum - Foster a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment - Assess, document, and communicate children’s developmental progress **Core Competencies** - **Early Childhood Education & Development:** Ability to support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development using best practices - **Leadership & Collaboration:** Experience guiding classroom staff and serving as a role model and mentor - **Communication:** Strong written and verbal communication skills with families, staff, and stakeholders **Who You Are** You are a compassionate, culturally responsive early childhood professional who is committed to equity, inclusion, and high-quality care.
