In this role, you will lead classroom learning, collaborate with assistant teachers, and create a safe, engaging environment that supports children’s growth and development. **Key Responsibilities** - Plan and implement engaging daily lessons and activities aligned with curriculum goals - Foster a safe, healthy, and inclusive classroom environment - Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development - Promote multicultural learning and positive classroom behaviors - Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities - Supervise classroom activities, projects, and field trips - Partner with teaching staff to create a positive learning experience for every child **Qualifications** **Required:** - **Minimum 1 year of childcare experience** - Must be **at least 18 years old** - Must **meet Washington State licensing requirements** for education and experience - CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain - Strong organizational and communication skills - Demonstrated ability to nurture and care for young children in a safe, engaging environment **Preferred:** - Additional early childhood education experience - Experience leading a classroom or curriculum planning **Our Ideal Candidate Is:** - Dependable and professional - Collaborative and team-oriented - Flexible and adaptable - Passionate about helping children learn and grow
