Serving our guests, clients, and team members is our **PASSION!** Be part of something great! **JOIN OUR FAMILY,** where *People are Paramount*. #LHGWhereYouBelong **Core Responsibilities:** - Breakdown work station and complete closing duties according to department standards: - Return all food items to the proper storage areas. - Rotate all returned products. - Wrap, cover, label, and date all items being put away. - Straighten up and organize all storage areas. - Clean up and wipe down food prep areas, reach-ins/walk-ins, and shelves. - Return all unused and clean utensils/equipment to the specified locations. - Ice down hot items from the steam table so they cool quickly. - Turn off all equipment not needed for the next shift. - Restock items that were depleted during the shift. - Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides according to department standards. - Inform the Chef/ Kitchen Mgr. of any shortages before the item runs out. - Inform F&B service staff of 86'd items and the amount of available menu specials throughout the meal period. **Qualifications:** - One Year experience as a line cook at a hotel or full-service restaurant - Ability to obtain Food Handling and Sanitation Certification within four weeks of hire - Commensurate or transfer skill set is of primary importance - Good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria. - Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required **Wellness Benefits:** - Medical - Dental - Vision - Generous Paid Time Off - Colonial Life Supplemental Insurance **Planning for the Future:** - 401(k) with company match - Life insurance - Manager In Training Program - Development Opportunities - Next Day Pay **Rewards:** - Incentive-based bonus program - Retention bonus program - Performance-based bonuses and recognition - Rooms discount for employee - Rooms discount for friends and family *Our focus is to deliver genuine, heart-felt service - service to our guests, service to our community, and service to each other.
