Lead Floor Technician

## Description **This is an overnight position, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work), 9:30 pm to 5:00 am** **Position Summary** Assist the Floor Technician Supervisor with training associates in the performance of floor care duties and perform floor stripping/waxing as requested by the Multi-Site Manager, Sr. Manager, or Director. **Essential Duties***(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)* 1. Assist the Floor Technician Supervisor with directing the floor care team, ensuring tasks are completed, and high-quality standards are achieved. When the supervisor is absent, cover their shift and be able to manage their daily tasks. 2. Assist the Floor Technician Supervisor with training associates in floor care and janitorial skills, proper cleaning techniques and schedules, usage and conservation of supplies, operation of equipment, safety practices, and other company rules and regulations. 3. Drive the company van/truck to transport equipment to off-site work areas. 4. Responsible for floor work at Goodwill sites throughout the Richmond area according to the schedule established by the manager. This includes dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping and waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, and other floor care duties as needed. 5. Monitor the use of supplies and equipment and request additional supplies as needed. 6. Clean floor equipment after each use and perform routine maintenance as needed. Notify the supervisor of any equipment needed repair. 7.
